TickleJack presentation
Development, English, Linux, TCL April 25th, 2007Today we as a group had to present the TickleJack projekt to a rather bored classroom, we were the last people to present and it was already late so noone really listened I recon. Anyways, the project’s page has been online for quite some time and I can not recall that there has been an announcement on geek\o/spehere so far. TickleJack is a multiplayer BlackJack cardgame (client / server model), which is kinda based on the Battleships system, some parts of the Battleships code are reused but due to the fact that TickleJack is the second game developed using the client/server model, improovements are made, in order to increase code and usability.
TickleJack is an ITP project for the Technikum Wien and therefore there are loads of planning documents (including meeting protocols, a project plan and presentations), everything can be found here. The project is released under the terms of the GPL V2 the sourcecode can be downloaded from the project dir.
Our team:
Markus G. (Project leader)
